We hold your personal data on cloud-based accountancy software BTC, VT Accountancy and VT Transactions provided by VT Software, Brightpay, Pixie, Accountancy Manager and Moneysoft Payroll Manager, our google drive and email systems, Dropbox and our outlook email systems, as spreadsheets stored locally on our computers and in some instances, as physical printouts stored in locked filing cabinets.
We have a policy of keeping information for six years after the end of the tax year to which it pertains when tax returns and accounts have been prepared.
Personal data must typically be destroyed within specified time frames under the Money Laundering Regulations (MLR 2017), but if a contractual agreement is in place, this is considered agreement to retain records for the longer period under Regulation 40 (5) MLR 2017.
